Each year in January we have a period of consecration, which consist of prayer and fast. Our 21 days of prayer and fasting with be January 3rd – 23rd, 2017. Our guide book has information about the Daniel Fast, but you are not obligated to that particular fast. The devotional book for the fast is available <– here –>

 

 

OVERCOMER | Church Theme 2017

Join us for our first worship gathering of 2017. What a great way to begin the new year. We will be installing an additional elder during the gathering, and serving communion for believers.

Pastor Juan will introduce our church theme for 2017 – Overcomer based on 1 John 5:4-5.

On Dec 4th, it was affirmed by the church to accept Juan Barrientez Sr. officially as a church elder. He will be installed through the laying on of hands on January 1st during our morning worship. He served as Pastor of SOFBC from 1996-2010 and the church bestowed the honorary title of Pastor Emeritus in 2010. He has continued to serve our congregation faithfully, under the leadership of his Juan P. Barrientez II. Our church has transitioned to having multiple elders and he again is serving in an official capacity. Thank you Elder Juan Barrientez Sr.!!!
